The Alexandria Business men Association (ABA) is arranging a workshop for NGOs and MFIs active in the field of microfinance, in Alexandria from the 22nd to the 24th of November. 25 participants from different Arabic speaking countries are invited to attend a three day training course which will provide new skills for internal operations mapping, and thus contribute to improving the microfinance procedures of the organizations all together. Two participants from SUDIA will be attending, leaving Sudan on Sunday November 20th. The trainings include areas such as Risk management, Portfolio management, Human Resource management, Development measurement techniques, Customer care, Cost management, Product development and Production of accurate documentation. The main objective is to gain a better understanding of the importance of well managed internal operations in the NGO / MFI, and the benefits this provides for all stakeholders. The SUDIA Microfinance Unit hopes to discover new tools for improvement and achieve more insight into own current internal management.
