Dynamic workshops on Creative Thinking and Creative Tools, SUDIA Feb, 2012

Our interactive, visual leadership trainings have been successfully conducted and 72 attendees in four different workshops have been trained on how to make use of their creative potential.

The participants expressed their deep interest in the content of the course and showed great enthusiasm. As the energy filled the training room, it was clear to SUDIA's staff that a lot of buried talents have emerged while Martine Vanremoortele was igniting those timed bombs. Receiving many requests, SUDIA is now considering another round of creativity training programs and Martine seems happy about the idea of coming back sometime and work with brilliant minds and creative potentials.

The Social Reintegration Project targeting ex-combatants in the two Blue Nile State villages is now coming to its end. Several successful social mobilization activities have been carried out recently, among others sports and theater events and a concert from which you can catch a glimpse if you click on 'more' and scroll down the SUDIA blog. Due to recent outbreak of violence and increased military presence on the ground Zariba village in Kurmuk locality had to be cut out of the program.
Two year 'Musharaka' Contract with Savings and Social Development Bank

Micro-credit activities represent a major part of our work in combatting poverty and unemployment amongst under-served communities in the places where we work. To this end we are constantly expanding our network of partner organizations which can act as 'lending outlets' and increasing our loan capital through partnerships with Banks and the Private Sector.More...
